Và vào ngày 31/7/2012 vừa qua, VL3 đã lên tiếng đầu tiên bằng phiên bản open beta. Từ những kinh nghiệm rút ra được ở giai đoạn thử nghiệm trước đó, NPH MCGame đã bổ sung thêm nhiều tính năng mới cho tựa game mới của mình, đồng thời tiến hành gia cố lại hệ thống server với hy vọng có thể hứng chịu được sự đổ bộ rất ư khủng khiếp của đông đảo người chơi. Sự tính toán này nhanh chóng phát huy tác dụng khi server đầu tiên mang tên Đông Tà rơi vào tình trạng quá tải chỉ ít phút sau khi khai mở. Tây Độc, server thứ hai liền xuất hiện ngay lập tức và giúp san sẻ lượng truy cập, bảo đảm hoạt động cho VL3 luôn được ổn định.

Tính đến buổi trưa cùng ngày, cả 2 server đều đã chật kín người chơi. Tuy nhiên điều may mắn là rất hiếm xảy ra trường hợp lag hoặc mất kết nối. Nhờ vậy game thủ dễ dàng khám phá lần lượt các tính năng trong game cũng như tham gia vào chuỗi sự kiện mừng open beta mà MCGame vừa ra mắt như Danh Chấn Thiên Hạ, Anh Hùng Bội Xuất, Tài Phú Vô Song, Con Số May Mắn,…Qua đó nhận về cho nhân vật nhiều phần thưởng giá trị, giúp cho chặng đường ban đầu trong VL3 phần nào bớt gian nan.

Không sở hữu nền tảng đồ họa “tốp trên” nhưng gameplay đa dạng, hoạt động tốt trên nhiều dòng máy đã giúp cho VL3 trở thành lựa chọn cân đối nhất cho người chơi tại thời điểm này. Hơn nữa, do xuất phát trước cả Kỳ Tiên lẫn Hoàng Đế nên VL3 đã và đang dần hình thành khoảng cách so với 2 đối thủ cạnh tranh trực tiếp này. Do vậy nếu muốn gỡ lại thế cân bằng thì Kỳ Tiên và Hoàng Đế đều phải tung ra đủ “chiêu trò” nhằm lôi kéo game thủ, qua đó làm cho trận chiến game mobile ở Việt Nam dịp cuối năm trở nên gay cấn hơn rất nhiều.
